Fitness Health Clubs

Will "Total Fitness" health clubs reduce their charges if you threaten to leave?

I've been a member of Total Fitness in Altrincham for two years and my membership runs out this week. I'm curious to learn whether anyone has successfully negotiated a lower-than-normal rate with them, and whether there are any tricks I can use to bring my monthly premium down.
