- Probably not, but it depends on gym policy. Every one is different.
- at most places this is not acceptable and if caught you may be asked to pay a fine. however, the gym i belong to does not check so it's not a big deal
- you can take his card and swipe it there, most gyms don't check for ID cuz it's not a big deal. But keep in mind if you get caught, there could be consequences because it's not allowed, unless you tell the gym to switch the account to your name with him paying for it.
- Like the first person said...look at their policy. If it's a chain like world gym or something, they probably could care less who you are related to or whatever. they just want your money, but i could be ignorant.
- depends on the gym you go to for 24 hr fitness..you need your own membership....try adding on to your family's membership, it will be cheaper....24 hour fitness checks my ID all the time...and if your not the card member they will take away your card.....at 24 there is always good deals...if you know someone working there try to get a friends and family deal where i heard it was 24 bucks a month....i am currently paying $850 for three years....with a student discount which is $100 off... and then after three years it will be $50 bucks a year..not bad I guess...
- It depends no only on the company but who is working there. In most gyms, people who have memberships are usually allowed to bring a guest, but I'm sure you could get in if you have your family members gym card. Back when I used to go to the gym with my friend all we had to do was scan the membership card and sign our name but you would probably just have to sign your family member's name. You might want to call the gym and ask. If you are under 18 they might ask you for identification and you might have to be accompanied by someone 18 or older.
- I am sure half of the gym membership price is used to pay for some sort insurance in case someone gets hurt and sues. I doubt they will want you working out without some signed release form. They are getting paid either way, so I do not see a reason why they would care, as long as you fill out the papers.
